OPTIFLEX GENESIS
Aspheric Hydrophobic Monofocal Natural Yellow Foldable IOL
OPTIFLEX GENESIS intraocular lenses (IOL) are Monofocal Aspheric Hydrophobic Natural Yellow acrylic foldable single piece posterior chamber IOLs. These IOLs are designed to be surgically implanted in the human eye as a replacement for the natural crystalline lens.
FEATURES
Natural Yellow Chromophore: Integrating a natural yellow chromophore, Optiflex Genesis lenses efficiently absorb harmful UV light and filter violet light. This dual-action mechanism not only safeguards the delicate structures of the eye, such as the retina, but also reduces glare and enhances contrast sensitivity, ensuring improved visual comfort and clarity.
Aspheric Optic Surface: Engineered with an aspheric optic surface, Optiflex Genesis lenses compensate for corneal aberrations, optimizing image quality and sharpness. By correcting positive spherical aberrations, particularly in low-light conditions, Optiflex Genesis lenses offer patients enhanced visual acuity and clarity post-surgery.
Hydrophobic Technology: Featuring advanced hydrophobic properties, Optiflex Genesis lenses minimize the occurrence of glistening and facilitate smooth unfolding during surgical implantation.
Violet-Blue Light Filter: With its proprietary natural yellow chromophore, Optiflex Genesis selectively filters violet-blue light, preserving color perception and contrast sensitivity. By reducing the risk of retinal damage from high-energy light exposure, Optiflex Genesis lenses promote long-term ocular health and visual comfort for patients.
Circadian Rhythm Preservation: By effectively filtering blue light up to 500 nm, Optiflex Genesis lenses support the body’s natural circadian rhythm. This feature helps regulate sleep-wake cycles and promotes overall well-being by preserving melatonin secretion and reducing the disruptive effects of blue light exposure, particularly in the evening.

OPERATIONS
Optiflex Genesis intraocular lenses (IOLs) find application primarily in cataract surgery, which involves the removal of the clouded natural lens and its replacement with an artificial intraocular lens. Utilizing advanced features such as aspheric optic surface and hydrophobic technology, Optiflex Genesis enhances surgical precision and postoperative visual outcomes. Additionally, Optiflex Genesis lenses are suitable for lens replacement surgeries aimed at correcting refractive errors or addressing other lens-related conditions. Whether in primary cataract surgery or secondary lens implantation procedures, Optiflex Genesis offers surgeons a reliable option to restore clear vision and improve the overall quality of life for their patients.
ADVANTAGES
Enhanced Visual Clarity: Optiflex Genesis lenses offer superior visual outcomes with improved contrast sensitivity, reduced glare, and enhanced color perception, leading to a heightened quality of vision for patients.
Preservation of Scotopic Vision: Optiflex Genesis lenses are meticulously designed to maintain the sensitivity of rod cells, crucial for low-light vision. By selectively filtering the violet-blue light spectrum, the lenses ensure optimal vision in dimly lit environments, such as during night driving or navigating dark spaces.
Glistening-Free Experience: The hydrophobic technology incorporated into Optiflex Genesis lenses ensures a glistening-free visual experience post-surgery, providing patients with clear and uninterrupted vision.
Retinal Protection: By effectively filtering harmful UV and violet-blue light, Optiflex Genesis lenses help protect the delicate structures of the retina, reducing the risk of retinal damage and maintaining long-term ocular health.
