Hydroxyproydroxypropylmethylcellulose Ophthalmic Solution USP 2%W/V
EYEVISC PFS is a sterile, transparent, isotonic, non-pyrogenic, viscoelastic preparation of a non- inflammatory, highly purified grade Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose 2% w/v dissolved in a physiological buffer for intraocular application during the anterior segment surgeries. It contains no preservative.
EYEVISC™ PFS is supplied as a sterile viscoelastic solution of Hydroxy Propyl methyl Cellulose USP 2.0% W/V in 2 and 3 ml pre-filled Syringe with 23 G Sterile Cannula. It possesses viscocity of 5250-8750 mPas.
Indicated as ophthalmic surgical aid in anterior segment surgical procedures
Useful in intra-operative surgical procedures like cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation
Maintains a deep chamber during anterior segment surgery
Allows for more efficient manipulation with less trauma to the corneal endothelium and other ocular tissues
Used to coat an intraocular lens as well as tips of surgical instruments prior to implantation surgery
Easily removable at the end of the surgery
