ROSE BENGAL OPHTHALMIC STRIPS

We manufacture different kinds of diagnostic strips which are used to visualize defects or aberrations in the corneal epithelium by staining the areas of cellular loss. They are available as sterile strips in individual peel-open pouches. 

Technical Specifications

Rose Bengal is an ocular stain that has the affinity for degenerating epithelium (outer layer of cornea). It stains devitalized or degenerated epithelial cells as well as mucous filaments. Available as sterile strips in individual peel-open pouches.

Indications:
It stains dead or degenerated epithelial cells of the cornea and conjunctiva.

Composition per strip:
Each strip is impregnated with 1.3 mg of Rose Bengal.

Packaging:
Box of 100 individually packed sterile strips.
